I guess "value" is in the eye of the beholder. In nature, humans are nothing special. With that in mind, assuming that humans have more value than a rock or a horsefly sounds a little hubristic. If we actually do have value more than a rock or a horsefly, it will only be due to something in us that is not in them. And so, on that note, we hope . . .
